November 2006 - Rolling chasiis..

Well. It took a while to get the new body and chassis. But goiod things are worth the wait (hurumph).

Got recommended a chap to do the build. Andy Osbourne of Streetwise Fabrications. So off it goes.

We catch up with it in November 2006 with the rolling chassis at Andy's. Kiwi Race Cars have basically done the drive train.
I had also decided the Walbro, while maybe being enough, may become a weak point so got an Automotive 1000 fuel pump and filters.

Picked up a tank off TradeMe. I was the on ly bidder so it was $50. Too cheap, I paid him a little more.
The guy even brought it down for me from up the line a ways. It's the older style with the side wing and filler.
This turns out to be a much better system in my opiion. Will show why later.
