July 2009 - Upholstery, body finally on.

Here you can see the replacement system for the door handles. It's just an upholstered chain. You can grab it anywhere and open the door.

Decided to colour match wheels to body.

Colin had used this system before. A Pod filter is in a housing in the inner guard and is fed from one of the 'brake ducts' in the front.
This still shows the intake system that uses the MAF. Later, under Speedtech's recommendation, I decide to go speed density. Main reason I like it is with this system it went from a 90mm Throttle body to a 85mm MAF to a 75mm Pod! Wrong!. Now it's full size all the way and gets rid of that orange silicon thing.

In this shot you can see how the boot space is clear. With the newer tanks, without the 'wing' the filler pipe comes in from the right hand sidedown intot the tank. May have to ask why they changed design. Can't see any benefit.
